Horticulturist Bronte Parrish would do anything to snag the apartment of her dreams, a penthouse wonder full of rare and beautiful plants. The only problem is that the tenant of the apartment must be married. Bronte desperately enters into a fake marriage with French immigrant Georges Fauré. Bronte gets her apartment and Georges has a green card. However, things become complicated when Immigration comes calling. They want solid proof that the two are in a genuine relationship. The two strangers move in together and desperately try to learn all about each other's lives before Bronte is jailed and Georges is deported.
